Raiders win a close game

Dorchester Academy is victorious over First Baptist. This is the Raiders first win of the season after losing its home opener last week. The Raiders will play at Thomas Sumter next week.

First Baptist scores again with 4:37 left in the game. Dorchester Academy still leading 21 -20.

Raiders lose season opener 9 - 0

The Raiders are disappointed after losing a close game to Hilton Head Prep.

"We did alright, but need to work a little harder in games," quarterback Thomas McAlhany said.

Other players echoed those sentiments.

"We played good, but a couple of turnovers at the wrong times cost us," Grande Fender said.

The Raider players are looking forward their next game.

"I'm disappointed in the outcome, but we are going to fix our mistakes and come out next week and play ball," Paul Shuler said.

The Raiders play at First Baptist next Friday.

Dolphins score with 4 minutes to go, lead 9 - 0


Dylan Rosser scored on 7 yard run to add to Hilton Head's lead. The two point conversion attempt failed.

On a 4th down with 16 yards to score, the Raiders stop the Dolphins' Hail Mary pass. Raiders cornerback, Thomas McAlhany, trashes a Dolphin to prevent the score.

Fans Turn Out For Game


A large crowd of Raider fans is entering Wamer Field anticipating the first win of the year.

"I predict an upset with DA winning 24-22," Athletic Director Jeff Aumend said.
